R3 Certifying Organizations
LEED-EB is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Existing Buildings, a U.S. Green Building Council program. LEED-EB does not certify products or processes as green; rather they have a program that lists 80 possible points a building must earn to receive certification. 12 of these points are obtained through cleaning products or practices that are green.
Buildings are reviewed by the LEED-EB in-house review team and a group of U.S. Green Building Council trained consultants, and if they meet the standards recognition is awarded.
