R3 Receives Golbon’s 2011 Non-Food Vendor of the Year Award

The 2011 Non-Food Vendor of theYear was awarded to R3 at Golbon’s Awards Banquet on October 13, 2011 in Boise, Idaho.  R3 Vice President,Strategic Vendor Development Dave Fisher accepted the award on behalf of R3.

“We received this award as a direct result of the support provided by our R3 regional management, branch management and sales reps,” said Dave.  “Golbon recognizes the tireless support R3 gives its members and regional managers.  We now sell to 108 of its 180 members and have been the only Golbon-approved disposables redistributor for ten years.”

Dave said that Golbon had record attendance at its 2011 conference during the week the award was presented.  Seventeen new members joined Golbon last year, making it the second largest food-service buying group in the country.Golbon offers a wide range of R3’s products to its restaurant and foodservice customers while keeping their capital employed at low levels.
