R3 CASHES IN AT 2011 ISSA SHOW IN LAS VEGAS

Customers and R3 Management team members discuss how R3 can better serve them

As we have done since 2007, R3 hosted a booth at the ISSA show in Las Vegas the week of October 17, 2011. Our Wednesday and Thursday sessions were well attended with numerous meetings held at our booth between customers, vendors and corporate staff. Visitors to the R3 booth, which proudly displayed our R3 Reduce Reuse Recycle and corporate logos , came from as far away as Switzerland, Iceland, Brazil and Mexico as well as from all over North America including Canada. Many came to our booth because they were attracted by our large R3 umbrella that hung over the center tower of our booth.

The West Coast contingent that included Burton Farquharson, Don Yankovich and Jeff McElroy met with dozens of customers during the show, while Earl Engleman and Tom Zatkulak worked vendor meetings all over the showroom floor. Corporate executives Derek Goodin, Barry Hentz, Dennis Wall and Joe Weil held scheduled meetings as well as greeted walk up customers to our booth. Dave Fisher, Rob Fulford, J.T. Bailey, Neil Lonibos, Wiley Agee and Frank Lacombe met with key representatives of our national buying group accounts during the course the two and a half day show. The newest member of our team, John Riddell, was also active at the R3 booth participating in meetings with all customers and vendors. Mark Sementilli also attended the ISSA show meeting with international vendors and customers.

The leads generated during the course of the show are being distributed to the appropriate branches for follow up action. Many were interested in our Jan-San offerings, green products and Prime Source items. Most walked away with the current 2011-2012 issues of the R3 Green Products Catalog and the company’s 2011-2012 Prime Source-Green Source-HiValu books which were available in hard copies and on compact discs. Jim Merfeld demonstrated the R3 Website to potential customers showing them the new interactive branch locater Map and the flip book catalogs that are now on line at the R3 website homepage.

R3 has already committed to participate in the 2012 ISSA Show to be held in Chicago October 2012 and has plans to return to the ISSA show in 2013 when it goes back to Las Vegas.
